    "Les pixels colorés" by ZAD KOKAR is a co-production between Petite Nature and Urin Gargarism Records.
    Cassette of 14 tracks recorded solo in Strasbourg between 2020 and 2022. As on his previous cassettes, Zad Kokar is inspired here by the uninhibited and free recording approaches of R. Stevie Moore and Jad Fair. The cover is printed in risography by Gargarismes (Strasbourg).

Following "End All Toxic Relationship Now!" and "Super Metroïd Made Me Do It", this new release keeps showing the solitary lofi-home-recorder side of Zad Kokar.
Aside from the cathartic nervous energy of his live shows, the songs featured on this album shows a wider range of mood and ambiences, going from psychedelic pop to minimalist dark ambient.
Once again it was created in a slow process of experimenting and overdubbing. Some early versions of the songs dates from the first covid lockdown in 2020 and then slowly evolved somewhere between Anderlecht and Strasbourg during the next two years...

Lyrics evoke: pressing hard your hands on your eyes to hallucinates colorful shapes, befriending Nick cave in dreams, my childhood home and cats, a mysterious cocoon trap world in a coma, the devilish monster Amazon eating everything, my dad seeing a pretentious movie about vampires (guess which one?), the awful visibility trap of social networks, the late David Graeber (RIP), and néanmoins...
